Wilf Roberts was born in Anglesey in 1941. He showed widely and effectively in London throughout the 1960s and 1970s while studying part-time at Croydon Art College. Roberts returned to Anglesey in 1973 and continued to paint, taking several private contracts as well as producing books and posters for several local and national charities on a volunteer basis. During this time, he did not publicly show his art until 1996. In Paris, New York, Australia, and the United Kingdom, his art is housed in public and private collections.
Wilf died in September 2016 at his home in Anglesey.
