Peter Stanaway was born in 1943. He was educated at De La Sale Training College and Manchester University.
His work has been exhibited at the Manchester Art Gallery, Salford Art Gallery, Bury Art Gallery, Stockport Art Gallery, Liverpool Cathedral, Todmorden Art Gallery, Hayfield Gallery to name but a few.
